Підключили саме зовнішню частину імпланта – процесор. Відтепер малюки будуть пізнавати світ чуючи звуки! Відтак, з часом та після проведення спеціальних занять із фахівцями – сурдопедагогами та логопедами почне розвиватись мова.

“У нашому випадку це єдиний шанс для мого сина жити повноцінним життям”, – поділилась емоціями мама Матвійка Софія.

“Це лише перший етап, який дуже важливий задля запуску процесу розвитку мовлення. Ми побачили радість батьків та здивування діток. Це дуже чуттєвий момент для нас усіх. Пристрій, який ми встановили внутрішньо – на усе життя у дитинки. З ростом дитини нічого міняти не треба”, – розповів керівник Клініки хірургії голови та шиї Федір Юрочко (Fedir Yurochko).

“Зараз до нас приїжджають діти зі всієї України. Ми бачимо, що є великий запит для таких втручань. З 2024 року ми включені у державну програму і щороку будемо отримувати 10 кохлеарних імплантів для наших пацієнтів безкоштовно”, – наголосив в.о. генерального директора Центру дитячої медицини Роман Кізима (Roman Kizyma).

🔎 Загалом, у нашій лікарні – Центрі дитячої медицини, лікарні «Охматдит» зробили кохлеарну імплантацію 5-ом нечуючим діткам за крайні 9 місяців. Операції провели безкоштовно. Імпланти лікарні подарувала американська компанія Advanced Bionics (Advanced Bionics Cochlear Implant Users Group), яка виробляє такі медичні пристрої. Ціна одного кохлеарного імпланта сягає до 25 тисяч доларів.
