Остеомієліт – гнійне запалення кісткової тканини. Це серйозне захворювання дитячого віку, оскільки в гострій фазі має важкий перебіг, може викликати небезпечні ускладнення. В першу чергу метастатичну пневмонію: мікроби з кістки через судинне русло переміщуються у легені, що значно погіршує стан пацієнта і навіть може закінчитися летально! Також сепсис або, як кажуть у народі, «загноєння крові». В подальшому, якщо відбулась сильна руйнація ураженої кістки, можуть розвинутись деформації кісток, їх викривлення та порушення темпів росту.
Зважаючи на ці фактори, остеомієліт потребує раннього виявлення та своєчасного і правильного лікування.
Найчастіше наші пацієнти спочатку отримували той чи інший вид травми (перелом, забій, розтягнення зв’язок), тому першочергово оглядались лікарями-травматологами різних медичних установ.
Лікарі проводили стандартні обстеження (рентген, УЗД тощо) і назначали відповідне лікування: обмеження фізичних навантажень, еластичні пов’язки, гіпсову мобілізацію, знеболення. Проте, не дивлячись на лікування у дітей зберігались чи посилювались болі, з’являлось підвищення температури і врешті решт вони звертались до дитячих хірургів нашої лікарні.
«Літня травматизація дітей сприяє збільшенню кількості звернень до лікарні із даним захворюванням. Травми можуть бути підгрунтям, на фоні якого може розвинутись остеомієліт», – зазначив дитячий хірург «Охматдиту» Кирило Лапшин (Кирил Лапшин).
Хочемо застерегти батьків, що якщо після якихось травм, переломів у дитини з’являються болі, які б мали вже пройти чи підвищується температура (навіть невелика – 37-37,5) це НЕ НОРМА. У такому випадку не варто відкладати візит до лікарів, щоб перевірити дитину. Тоді можливо уникнути серйозних наслідків.
