Ми стартували! У Львові, в Центрі дитячої медицини, лікарні “Охматдиті” розпочалась благодійна місія американських пластичних хірургів “Reconstruction”!

Команда американських медиків вже почала консультації діток із вродженими вадами обличчя або тих, які зазнали травм обличчя чи шиї через військові дії в Україні. До фахових спеціалістів могли звертатися діти із мінно-вибуховими травмами, вродженими вадами розвитку, вродженими та набутими вадами повік і очей, судинними мальформаціями голови та шиї.

Всього в Україну зі США прибуло 1️⃣4️⃣ медиків, зокрема спеціалісти із пластичної та щелепно-лицевої хірургії, розщілин губи й піднебіння, дерматологи, отоларингологи.

▶️ А саме:

➖Mark Hnatiuk – доктор медичних наук, ЛОР, краніофаціальний хірург (його сім’я емігрувала у США в часи Другої світової війни, втікаючи від радянської тиранії та насильства);

➖Roman Bukachevsky – доктор медичних наук, ЛОР, пластичний хірург обличчя;

➖Steven Dressner – доктор медичних наук, окулопластичний хірург;

➖Craig Hobar – пластичний, краніофаціальний хірург;

➖Corinne Horn – доктор медичних наук, ЛОР, пластичний хірург обличчя;

➖Rogelio Martinez Wagner – пластичний, краніофаціальний хірург.

🩺 Нагадаємо, місія триватиме із 28 квітня по 3 травня 2024 року у рамках проєкту “EduCare”, що ініціює та організовує Благодійний фонд “Християнська медична асоціація України” (Християнська медична асоціація/Christian Medical Association of Ukraine) у партнерстві із “Leap Global Mission” (LEAP Global Missions) та “Razom for Ukraine” (Razom for Ukraine).

🤝Це вже шостий візит американських медиків в Україну. Така співпраця із закордонними спеціалістами не тільки допомагає постраждалим, а й сприяє передачі багаторічного досвіду фахівців з найкращих клінік США українським пластичним хірургам.
