У Центрі дитячої медицини, лікарні “Охматдит” успішно проведено ще три кохлеарні імплантації для маленьких пацієнтів у рамках державної програми! 
Ці операції стали можливими завдяки спільним зусиллям провідних ЛОР-спеціалістів України: нашої команди Клініки дитячої отоларингології на чолі з Федором Юрочком та Європи: професора Юзефа Мєжвінського (Бидгощ, Польща), професора Марціна Шиманського (Люблін, Польща), професора Анджея Жаровського (Антверпен, Бельгія).
Кохлеарний імплант працює таким чином, що він сприймає звуки, передає через електрод до слимачка, який є початком слухового нерва. Потім електричні імпульси проходять у головний мозок, він це аналізує і сприймає як слухову інформацію.
Наші маленькі герої – 3-річна Уляна з Закарпаття, 5-річна Єва із Закарпаття та 1-річна Анастасія зі Львова – тепер отримали шанс чути світ звуків та голосів рідних. 
«Дітей для операцій обирали згідно сучасних критеріїв: це глибоке недочування на два вуха, при якому не допомагають слухові апарати. Найкраще таке втручання робити малим дітям, адже тоді найбільші шанси успішної реабілітації слуху та мови опісля», – наголосив Федір Юрочко (Fedir Yurochko).
Операції та реабілітація для дітей і їхніх родин проводяться безкоштовно, завдяки державній програмі, яка забезпечила необхідні імпланти.
За місяць відбудуться підключення зовнішньої частини імпланта і тоді дітки зможуть вперше у своєму житті почути звуки і в процесі реабілітації почати розмовляти.
«Перші імпланти в 2023 році нам подарував виробник кохлеарних імплантів. А зараз ми зробили новий і важливий крок, оскільки держава побачила наші успіхи та виділила цього року нам у рамках державної програми 10 імплантів», – розповів керівник Клініки дитячої отоларингології Федір Юрочко.
